Dr. Alaa Olama is currently working as a Head Consultant, Head of the Permanent Committee, EGYPRA, and Egyptian District Cooling Code. He was a member of RTOC TF XXVI/9 on alternatives to ODS for OEWG- 35, Montreal Protocol, Member of the International Review Panel for Low GWP Refrigerants Testing Programme for Gulf region – PRAHA.

The most sought after specialist today in Egypt for his highly-enriching district cooling code, he is also sought after in other countries like Germany, India and parts of Asia for his expertise in writing district cooling codes for the country.
